Having a Growth Mentality
Allow me to get back to the things I am learning in the Church planting process. I taken a break from writing consistently in order to put together my thoughts and efforts towards the spiritual campaign we are doing at ICC Mombasa dubbed, "Exercising your way to financial fitness". The campaign is our first major outreach and discipleship effort running for 6 weeks. More on that later, for now let's dig in to one more key lesson: 9) Improvement mentality - I have realized that I do not need to be apologetic about my present failures and my past mistakes. What I need to focus on is the need to grow; improve and be the best I can be. In order to be the person God created me, I need to set standards that are higher than where I am and should always be striving towards excellence and growth. I desire to be excellent and therefore I should set goals and standards that will drive me towards this! I challenge you to strive for the same. Let's not live life making excuses for our past and present: let's improve, grow and be the best we can ever be. Be blessed
