In the process of church planting, there are things I am learning that are very critical and important which I am so excited about. I will share two today and follow up with the rest in the coming days. These are very important points not just for church planting but for every area of life. Keep coming back to read the rest. Here we go: 1) Over come the temptation to try and be like somebody else. We love comparing ourselves to other people and end up gauging ourselves by their standard. If we are better than them, we get prideful and if we do not measure up, we are jealouse of them and try to discredit and destroy them in the eyes of others. Meanwhile, we are side tracked from pursuing God's will for us. 2)Its important to surround myself with the right people The right people are not those who are yes men but people who believe in the vision and can speak straight where they see one faltering in pursuing God's will. The right people know and treat you as a human being and are willing to walk with you in success and in failure. Life is not about fulfilling my will and living to "be successful", Life is about running the race with perseverance and fulfilling God's will for my life. Blessings
