Work Ethics
I got up to preach this past Sunday on a "strange" principle in our campaign series. How do you associate financial fitness and money was the question I sought to answer as part of the biblical principles to financial fitness. When we think about finances and improving in our dealings and handling of the same, work does not seem to apply. Very few people ever think that sometimes, the financial circumstances they are in are affected by their work ethics. The truth of the matter is, our work ethics affect our finances. Ask yourself, "If God was your boss, would He give you a pay rise, demote you or sack you altogether because of your work ethics?" How we work and our attitude towards work do affect our finances in many ways. 1. It seems to me that in our country we need to re-educate a whole generation on work ethics. We all complain when we go to a service provider and evident that there is an epidemic of slothfulness. My mother used to say getting tired is not a disease.

I think we need to roll up our sleeves and love the Lord with all our strength.

  2. Chelel,

I agree with you. Work is something all of us need to learn to do with joyfulness.

We even say its a curse but from careful study of scripture, it is a blessing.

    Let’s work on
