Reflections
I took time today to go through the process I went through as the Lord began to speak to me about moving to Mombasa to plant a church. I wanted to refresh the vision and call to church planting and to also to check out what God spoke to me against what has happened so far at ICC Mombasa. The process was triggered in part by a question from one of the ICCM'ers yesterday who came up to me after the service and asked, "Pastor, how does God speak? How do I hear God's voice?" After answering the person, I was left with a lingering question in my mind, "Am I on course in fulfilling God's will and call?" From my reflection time, I can confess that indeed God has been very faithful in walking with us and growing ICCM to what it is today. God is building His church and I am confident that the gates of hell will never prevail against it. I am renewed in vision, excited about living in Mombasa and serving in planting International Christian Centre Mombasa My time of reflection enabled me to revise my goals and objectives and I am set to mobilize the church to a whole new season. Let me challenge you and encourage you to set aside time to review your life, goals and accomplishments so far. It's one of the important disciplines which sometimes we forget to do. Having time to reflect and recollect helps in refining what we plan to accomplish and helps us to move on with momentum. It also helps us to pray and allow God to speak into our lives what He wants us to be about. Find time to reflect. It will re-energize you As I reflected, I came across the photos below from the ICC Mombasa launch sunday, 3rd Feb 2008 and I thought of sharing them with you. Enjoy and pray for us.
